An opportunity exists for an experienced Operations Manager to lead a large-scale water services contract within a high-volume, 24/7 operational environment. This is a national, strategically significant leadership role with direct accountability for operational performance, commercial outcomes, and service delivery across a major program of works.
Working closely with senior leadership and functional managers, you will drive operational efficiency, cost control, safety performance, and KPI achievement while maintaining strong client relationships and regulatory compliance. Success in this role requires both strategic oversight and hands-on operational understanding at site level.

Key Responsibilities
Provide visible safety leadership and ensure the highest standards of HSEQ compliance across all operations.
Drive operational efficiency, financial performance, and cost control across a high-volume program of works.
Oversee 24/7 service delivery, workforce planning, and roster management to ensure contractual KPIs are consistently achieved.
Lead incident investigations, audit reviews, risk management processes, and corrective action implementation.
Collaborate with senior internal stakeholders including Project Leadership, Vendor Management, Contracts, and Business Improvement teams to optimise performance outcomes.
Maintain strong client engagement, ensuring transparent reporting, issue resolution, and service excellence.
Monitor service outputs to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and internal performance benchmarks.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and proactive risk management across employees and subcontractors.
Proven experience managing large-scale utilities or infrastructure operations in a 24/7 environment.
Demonstrated success delivering against financial, safety, and service-level KPIs.
Strong leadership capability with the ability to influence at executive and frontline levels.
In-depth understanding of HSEQ systems, regulatory compliance, and risk management frameworks.
